Forum Policies

1. Don't be a jerk. This should be easy, evidently it is not. Treat everyone with the respect that you should had you just met them on the trail. This is a small community, odds are that you will meet them sometime.
2. Use the information from these forums at your own risk. We cannot monitor all the exchanges that go on here, therefore we cannot be responsible for it. Help others by letting them know if you are unsure of some information that you post here. Verify from other sources if you can, we will do our best.
3. Use the marketplace wisely. We cannot and do not wish to monitor transactions there. If we are given proof of questionable transactions, we will remove posting privledges. We highly recommend meeting up along the trail to exchange goods. It is much harder to cheat someone face to face. Don't be a cheat. See rule #1.
4. Don't spam. Attempting to sell something outside of our marketplace forum, selling something that is unrelated to the subject of this website, or repeatedly posting about the same item you are trying to rid yourself of in a short time span will be considered spam and will result in posting privaleges being revoked. We have a hair trigger about this sort of thing, so if you have a question about whether something violates this policy, ask about it via e-mail. We will get back to you in a timely manner, promise.
5. We reserve the right to delete any posting as we see fit. This will only be done for the the good of the community. So go ahead, tell us the site is ugly and looks like it was put together by a third grader for a school project. We can take it. Just don't forget to follow rule #1, and all will be fine.
